38 businesses in Isoka District have benefited from the loans component of the 2022 Constituency Development Fund(CDF) amounting to One Million, Eight Hundred and Ninety Three ,Six Hundred and Sixty Kwacha (K1, 893,660.00).
This is the first batch of beneficiaries under 2022 as more will be recommended for approval once they meet the conditions or requirements as provided for by the CDF guidelines and the financial institution Atlasmara Bank.The beneficiaries will venture in various business including poultry, Agro business, restaurant ,Media Arts ,Aquaculture, Rice processing ,block making ,butchery , beef processing, Construction among others.
The beneficiaries are expected to pay back the loan with the period of 12 to 48 months with minimal interest. The CDF loans will not only help boost businesses and local businesses but also create jobs and wealth and contribute to the development of the District.
