K19.8 MILLION HEALTH FACILITIES IN ISOKA.

Government in collaboration with World Vision Zambia, has commissioned upgraded health infrastructure valued at Nineteen Million, Eight Hundred and Seven Thousand and Twenty-Five Kwacha (K19,807,025).
The handover ceremony, held in Chapemba Community and officiated by Muchinga Provincial Minister Njavwa Simutowe, MP, reflects ongoing efforts by the Government under President Hakainde Hichilema to advance decentralised, equitable, and quality health services across the country.
The newly commissioned facilities include a fully equipped health post in Chapemba, complete with staff houses, an incinerator, and a mechanised water system with an ablution block.
Others are four Primary Health Outreach Posts constructed in Ndeke, Chipokoso, Lwanga, and Soweto; the installation of staff houses and a mechanised water system at the existing Chinyonga Health Post; and the establishment of two new Primary Health Care Posts in Chewa and Kaumba communities.
The facilities are expected to serve a combined population of 3,843 residents who previously travelled long distances to access basic health services.
